Core’s PD Pro is a highly adaptable power platform designed to support a wide range of auxiliary video and audio devices, offering flexible power output solutions tailored to various production needs. While the PDP-USBC cable allows the connected device to determine the necessary voltage, all other PD Pro cables deliver a fixed voltage pre-set by Core for each specific application. These fixed outputs are optimized to ensure peak performance for your devices.
It’s important to verify that your devices can handle the fixed voltage provided by PD Pro cables, similar to how you would with an unregulated P-Tap cable. For example, while unregulated P-Tap cables may output a wide voltage range (11-17V DC), a PD Pro cable designed for 12V 2-pin LEMO input devices consistently provides a regulated 15V output.
