Firmware updates can be performed directly on Angelbird AV PRO CFexpress Type A cards through the card reader, maintaining ongoing camera compatibility, optimal performance, and full feature set of the card.
Lightweight, compact and built from hard anodized aluminum, Angelbird card readers are built to withstand the realities of on-the-go creative production. Optional rubber pads provide stability during operation or on uneven work surfaces.

Integrated Write-protect Function

Angelbird CFexpress Type A Card Reader comes with a Write-Protect Switch that protects against unintended file deletion and keeps your system from writing unwanted data files to your card.
To ensure functionality, CFexpress Type A card must be ejected BEFORE activating or deactivating the card reader's Write-Protect Switch.

USB-C 3.2

USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 connectivity with up to 20 Gb/s data transfer speed. USB backwards compatible. Connection port is physically compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4 cables (speed not supported).
