The LH706-01 Lens Hood from Sigma is a dedicated lens hood for the 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary Mirrorless Lens, that blocks stray light from entering the lens to prevent glare. It also features a ridged surface to further reduce the potential for flare and ghosting.
The tulip design does not cause vignetting in the image, even at the widest end of the zoom range. It also greatly reduces damage to the lens in case of collision by sustaining most of the impact.
