Tilta Camera Cage for Canon C400 Pro Kit – V-Mount

This meticulously engineered cage provides protective armor for the camera body and allows users to secure different accessories to improve functionality and features multiple points of contact to prevent shifting during use. Its modular design allows you to tailor your setup to suit your needs with versatile components, including a Top Plate, Left and Right Side Arms, Bottom Plate, and a Multifunctional Back Plate, all of which are detachable for quick adjustments.

The Multifunctional Back Plate is a great option for mounting lightweight battery plates such as our Mini V-Mount Battery Plate as well as other accessories. Mounting points on the Full Cage include: Arri Rosette, NATO Rail, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 Threads, both with Locating Points.

The Multifunctional Top Handle provides a comfortable grip to handle and operate the camera while offering additional mounting points for accessories. Designed to provide clearance for the original Canon Top Handle, this kit includes an alternative top plate that can be used to provide the clearance needed for this handle.

This Sony VCT-U14 compatible Baseplate allows users to attach various accessories via 15mm LWS rods on the front of the baseplate and features an ergonomic shoulder pad so users can quickly transition between tripod and shoulder mounted configurations.

It also features Arri Rosettes, which can be used with the included Rosette Extension Arm and cable to mount the Canon C400’s Side Handle and have full access to its controls in a shoulder rig configuration.

The included Battery plate features USB-C PD input and outputs as well as P-Tap outputs and a 2 Pin output. The Plate has a swivel mount that allows users to easily access the camera’s on-board batteries which makes this a great option for hot swapping.

Modular Design

The kit includes a Top Plate, Left and Right Side Arms, Bottom Plate, and Multifunctional Back Plate. Each part is detachable and can be added or removed based on your needs.

Includes Battery Plate

Accessible design with PD input/ External Battery. Hot Swappable between BP-U and V-Mount batteries, ensures safe continuous shooting.

Multifunctional Backplate

Compatible with standard V-Mount plates, it provides expansion capabilities without blocking cable access or the original battery.

Multifunctional Top Handle

With the handle extension installed, the top handle extends to a total length of 360mm, providing a comfortable grip and additional features mounting points.

Compatible with the original handle

Provides clearance for the original Canon top handle and ensures unobstructed access to all ports.

Shoulder Rig Configuration

Features a Shoulder Pad with Manfrotto Receiver. So users can quickly transition between tripod and shoulder rig via Manfrotto Quick Release Plate. Also compatible with VCT Style Plate and Tilta Dovetail.

Horizontal and Vertical Configurations

Standardized screw design for the cage, allows for quick transitions between horizontal and vertical modes, with one setup.

Flexible Mounting Options

Equipped with multiple mounting points, it accommodates accessories such as microphones, on-camera lights, monitors, wireless video transmitters and more.

USB-C Male to Female Extension Cable

Enables normal use of the Canon C400 original right handle in both shoulder-mount and vertical shooting modes.

Original EVF Bracket Quick Adjustment Module

Easily connects the original top handle to the EVF 15mm rod, with adjustable tension.

LWS Standard Baseplate

The kit’s baseplate is compatible with the LWS standard. It comes with an Allen key which can unscrew all the uniform screws.

Reserved Sensor Marking Position

The original Sensor Marking Position Pin can be installed on the cage for accurate focus measurements.
